What weight and how much? I have a new (well used but hopeful :D) transmission and I figured I'd change the fluid before I put it in the car. Thanks for the help, I plan to pick up the fluid tomorrow and have the trans in after work.

I ALWAYS USE LUCAS FULID FOR THE TRANS (STANDARD) AND REAR END I USE THE ENGINE OIL ADDITIVE IT'S BEEN IN MY 50 PACEMAKER CV FOR OVER 10 YEARS AND NEVER HAD A BIT OF TROUBLE IT IS A BIT THICKER THAN 80/ 90/120 IT REALLY STICKS TO THE GEAR FACE

Thanks for the link Kdancy, it's a 53 3 speed manual with OD sorry I didn't include that. How much does it take? Quarts?

Should be a dual lever BW T86 --
manual says double lever transmission is 2.25 lbs
double lever trans with OD is 3.25 lbs
The conversion is very close to 1lb= 1pint
