All that work, and brown leather. Bummer.

Testing my memory. Is that a 51 steering wheel.
Are the grille pieces originally black?

Called on this car last week and he told me he sold it and the buyer was picking it up on Friday.......well just received pics of a rolled Hudson off a trailer that happened this past Sunday...I am 100% sure it is the same car...same interior color, no windshields, hope the guy got insurance on it before he left.

That's a real shame- I'd sure like to hear "the rest. . . of the story" on that.

Would be willing to bet he didn't get insurance bound before he hauled- folks just don't think of those things.

OMG.. What else can I say... Having spent a small fortune on a 49 Convertible and also having conversed with the seller. I take this personally. I sure would like to hear the details of how it happened.
I had my four door Super six roll off my trailer on the way to Detroit. Got VERY lucky and no damage was done to anything.. Just my pride! I have towed and hauled cars all over the east coast for over 40 years.. Made one mistake.. Thats all it takes.

So, the brakes were not tested before it was rolled out of the garage?

I would like to correspond with the owner. I might have some parts to help them put it back together. I have received help from other Hudson Convert owners.. Maybe I can return those favors. HETdwad1939@att.net.. drop the HET
