Another great issue. Sam, love the article that you included due to your "retire-ability". Thanks for all that you and Mary Ann do.

Great issue and spectacular covers. Couldn't wait to set down an read all the way through.
HUDSON PICKERS brought back memories and a good feeling of helping George Lauders family this past year sell some 26 vehicles, 15 of them Hudsons as well as a 3 car garage full of car stuff.
It was exciting to see the look on those PICKERS faces as they hauled off Hudson treasures and looking forward to going back for more. I hope there will be a follow up story.

Lee, for those of us that acquired projects from your efforts, I thank you. It is exciting to be back out in the shop tinkering. Since I retired, I take more time to work on the process and do more myself. It is sure enjoyable. I have more busted knuckles than I have had for years. What a good feeling. Thanks again....0

Brownie, it makes it all worth the effort to hear back from you and others about the progress being made toward fixing them up. Jairo Medina is also making major progress with his 52 Hollywood. He lives nearby so sometimes I get a chance to help him a little. I tell him I'd rather help him with his car then work on my own projects. Dave Galassi is making progress with his 46 PU and 71 VW THING. Chris Bauer sold his 47 Commador and I believe has already started on his 54 Sedan. Two 54s and 47 PU that Conny Klintare got will be going over seas. Chris Smith is gathering parts for 54 Coupe while he finishes his present project. Jack Scott is gathering parts for his 46 PU. Val Smith has the Pacer running now. Mike Earadis has resold the nice 60 Ford Starliner. Scott Ewing is restoring the 68 & 69 Chargers, 64 Chrysler & 64 Dart. My son Ricks 54 2dr Hornet Special & 47 PU cab are on hold while he move his shop to new location and finish his beautiful 64 Chevelle project. A 47 & 54 Hudson Sedan sold are being parted out and the 50 Hudson that didn't sell is planned to be scrapped. The rest of cars sold - unknown results. It took longer than expected, 11 months to find homes for them. It was almost a sad day returning the gate keys when it all ended. It had become habitforming driving 20 miles there 2 - 3 times a week to show the cars to those looking for a project to fix up. I think it was worth the effort seeing that almost all will be back on the road. And the Lauder family thanks you all.
