I'm going to put 54 Hollywood interior door panel trim on my club coupe. I am short three long strips for a front door to complete a set. Any help is appreciated.

Hey Chris What are the length of strips that you need. Are they smooth or corrigated ss strips.
I have extra shorter ss strips. My friend that is helping me finish our Hollywood found a person that could weld the thin ss strips and he had to make one out of a few pieces. And I figured out how to streighten the strips. Our Hollywood door length is 43.1/2 long. Ray

I scrapped out a 54 Hollywood a couple of years ago and saved the doors. I'll be home in a couple of days. Email me at HETcramerlp@roadrunner.com Drop the HET of course.

Uncle Josh, I sent you an email thanks!
Ray, they are smooth and almost 43 3/4 long The original strips are the rough finish strips and most were missing. They look kind of cheap anyway, the hollywood trim is much nicer imho. I asked Jason Fisher from Vintage Coach to look for them at San Mateo. He is my friend and neighbor so anyone that may have some could give to him at the national and not have to mess with shipping.

I had a bunch of strips sent from North Dekota they come in a round tube. the 43 3/4 ones I used had holes drilled on each end because people getting out of car would catch end of strip . Ray

I use PVC pipe to ship trim. Comes in several diameters. Never had a problem.
I used a gutter downspout once , they drove over it with a tow motor at the airport sorting place.

Chris, Just thought I would mention that I am going to install the stainless roof strips on my 54 coupe. I did some fitting the other day to see how it would work. The stainless is a bolt on. I will need to do some modification to the two inch metal section that wraps from the beltline on the back window all around the car. But, it seems like an easy modification to me. There is a Hollywood a few miles north of me, I will have to go check out the interior.....

You guys are pretty lucky to have 54 Hollywoods so close for parts and a pattern . I should move to the States . Ray
