Only a few miles from me and in very good condition. It has had the same owner for more than 25 years... This and his other 60 cars are not for sale...... The metro is also a Hudson...

Hey Brownie THANKS for the great photos of the 54 Hollywood . You took the exact pictures that I needed for the finishing lacing that goes from the edge of dash all the way to the edge of rear parcel shelf. I had forgotten. I also love the picture of the swamp cooler air conditioner in the pass window. I need one of them. Very Hudsonly Ray0

Ray, I think that the lacing you are talking about was the only original part of this interior? Robert Johnson (Utah) did the restoration on this car in the 70's. Not a bad job, but not top quality. Only replaced what he had to.0

Duncan , I bought a 49 Hudson from a guy that used it for a trip out west. It had that same cooler in the back seat when I got. I sold it to a friend , he used his wives washing machine
money that she was saving up. He was happy --for a while!0 -
Brownie The trim lace that goes between headliner and 2 inch wide alluminm strip that goes from parcel shelf and around windshield and headliner are original , Our original headliner was a little darker but was the same material. I gues it depended on the temp to change color.
When the ex and I would go to Arizona back in the 70s and 80s we alway stopped in Brigham city to see all my Hudson buddys and including Robert and Richard Johnson. Great people.0
