Need Pacemaker oil help

The machanic working on my Pacemaker had the oil line from the oil filter cannister to the block break. The line has unusual fittings and the mechanic has temporarily fixed it, but I need a correct line with correct fittings before the car can be run any distance. Does anyone make a replacement line that I could buy? If not, where might I get the correct fittings. Dave Kostansek told me to use copper tubing but the original is a fabric and rubber tube. Any help you can give me would be most appreciated.

Tractor Supply has stocked this line in the past.
  • I purchased these lines from NCU motorsports, on line. The phone number is 559-804-0706.

I believe some people use steel brake line as replacements as well.
  • OldFarmer, did Tractor Supply have the line as well as the fittings? What should I ask for if I go there?
Hotrodman, were there fittings with those lines, also?
I'll give those both a try. Thanks

In the mean time. Put pipe plugs in the two engine ports and drive it.
  • Yes ,you can run it with no filter . The filter was an option after all. Only thing is you probably should run non detergent oil if you do,

  • I believe that the lines were generic and had to find fittings to make them work?. You will figure it out once you get them. I do believe that the fittings from the old lines worked, might have had to figure out maybe one of the fittings. Really do not remember know. The cost is small for the lines and knew that they were oil lines so just went for it and figured it out. I do remember that I had to order one of them again as the first time I had one that was not long enough. They are rubber lines covered with metal weave with nicely crimped ends. Do not be intimidated with this, it is much doable for any one that can turn a wrench and it is all excisable.
  • I want to thank all of you. Today I found the fittings I needed at the local industrial supply. The mechanic is going to use steel brake line, so things should be fine.
