26 Hudson Tail Light Source

I have been contacted concerning sourcing a taillight for a '26 Hudson Super 6. That's about 25 years previous to my Super 6 experience. Any suggestions on who to contact?

My advice would be to suggest the fellow (or gal) contact Dave Kostansek and Carl Weber. Their contact information is in the National roster. Both are acquainted with these earlier years of Hudson and both deal in parts for those earlier years. Make sure the owner asks them which other years of taillight will interchange with the '26. That will increase his / her chance of finding one.

A reproduction Ford light of this era would be similar, and a cheap temporary solution until the proper one was found. My 24 Hudson has a tail light with the words Hudson Essex Type A. I see them for sale on Ebay. This might be the same light as used in 1926. Barry
