This is Ray Bybanks (Duncan) 54 going to a guy that is going to complete the stainless back on, I think. Ray will chime in later and explaine pics. Ray is in Canada.
Also a couple of pics he sent me of a Green Hornet Cpe. Guy wants to sell it, asking 20K I think. Very Nice.

The car is looking good. Wish mine were that far along....0

Was Ray selling earlier his 1949 Super Six Brougham? That car looked very nice, if I had the money I would have got it.0

A couple more pics of the Green Hornet. I notice it does not have the wrap around stainless housing the backup lights. Wasn't that factory installed.0

The coupe pictured is a Hornet "SPECIAL" which was a one year (1954) model designation. The Hornet Special was one step down from the Hornet and did not come with all the factory installed stainless of a Hornet. So, the rear stainless which encloses the backup lights, roof stainless were not installed. Another difference, the belt-line stainless is the same as the WASP models which is not as wide as the Hornet. All in the name of saving money in the last model year of HUDSON manufacture.0

Thanks for all the coments. I never had a 1949 super six brougham. The hornet special coupe is a very nice restored car . Runs exellant and has BW transmition. Our Hollywood has only been out of the shop once before last week to be painted . I have had the car for 12 years.
That is me standing by the car and the picture of the car leaving our yard. Ray0 -

Ray: Whats the car on the trailer for? And when will we see it in it's final trip back on the trailer.0

The pictures are our 54 hornet hollywood loaded on trailer and is taken to our friend to finish it off. All the stainless trim is fixed and being pollished and bumpers are plated and the rest of the interior is being finished all ready to install.. Ray0

Our hollywood will be finished by spring or maybe late winter so I can take winter snow pictures . I also have to get the valves readjusted and repair the pass. front fender . Ray0
