308 c/w large valves

which years were the 308's produced with the larger intake and exhaust valves? Were these the same diameter as the 7X engines, and how would you identify the block?

All 308s had the same size valves with the exception of 7X engines which had both larger intake and exhaust valves. Any block could be modified to use the larger valves.
