Hudson Mystique Strikes Again
Took the Hornet to a small, local car show, mainly just to do my part in promoting Hudsons. Although the Hornet wasn't awarded anything for postwar domestic, it did receive a judges award for "Different / Most Interesting". Amazingly, it was parked next to a '09 Shelby Mustang, a GT40 and a limited production Lexus LFA sports car (it took 'step down' one better to "sit down' - the seat bottoms were well below the doorsills of this carbon-fiber rocket). Guess the judges thought a white car was unique, compared to all the black ones!

About 3 years ago I bought my Hudson. Jon just had his car painted white and we caravaned together to the Laughlin Economy Run, Jon following me going 80-85MPH to get to the starting line on time. A little over 100 miles away. That is when I found out my cars rear main leaked alot because Jon let me know his car was splatered with oil. I felt bad about that. On the return trip home I followed Jons beautiful white Hudson.
The pictures on both our posts are the ones we took of each others cars in the parking lot just before leaving on our trip home after the economy run.
