What is the round 'can' with the pump rod and tubes on the left side of this eight?

I don't own one, but I believe it's the Drive-Master. Shifts the car and depresses the clutch when you lift your foot off the accelerator.

Is it Drive-master or electric Hand. Looks like a '38 or '39 to me.

46/7 Hudson. Check the bonnet stay on the right side and the shape of the front guard

    Drivemaster.
  • Thanks, both my 42's were originally equipped with DriveMaster as they both had the trunk emblems and both had the switches on the dash. But only the coupe had some of the devices mounted on the transmission. Neither had these pieces shown here, however. They must have been removed sometime in the past.
