Shift lever needed

Among the hundreds of parts missing from this 49 brougham ..... Since it now has a HydraMatic from a 54, and a steering shaft and linkage from a 51, I now need the shift lever and pivot bolt. I have a standard shift lever, but it is different and won't interchange. So far I have parts from 13 states on this car. Maybe in my life time I'll see it running.

    Could be worse. About 3 months ago, we crossed a milestone with the convertible: As I write, parts have come from all 48 of the Continental states and 4 different countries.

    I know I have a shift lever, I'll look for a pivot bolt. Get back to 'ya.

    I found a shift lever, but no pivolt bolt. Go ahead and get a set from Lance and be done with it. Do you have the lockout that goes at the bottom of the column, that doesn't allow you to start in a drive gear?
