Brownie, you may want to hang on to your checkbook and sell everything you own and buy this one. Someone smarter than me - which is a huge number of people - can add the address on it. Gert Kristiansen

I think I would have to sell more than I currently have to meet the reserve? Not going to happen. But this does lead to a question? My English Hudson was built by Coachcraft--with this coachbuilder there are no two cars alike. From 1934 to 1938 Coachcraft built ten of these Saloons. Not sure how many each year but since the 35 and 38 I have seen have much different front clips I am guessing that not more than two or three were 36's. And, that they changed body front end styles each year. So, from a point of view of rare---the Italia's are a production run car-and a Jet no less. My best offer when I tried to sell my car was 35K. My Hudson is even the long wheel base and an 8 cyl--so, why the difference in value?

Good point - my sense is that many Hudson and classic car collectors have heard of the Italia and very few know about the British bodied. Gert

Brownie treated everybody with his '36 at the Oklahoma City International Meet - my only problem with the car was I couldn't figure out how to drive my brand-x and Brownies car after I stole it back to Memphis. The old "drive one a mile down the road, walk back and get the other - then drive that 2 miles, etcc etc ect" didn't seem like a great idea in the heat. LOL
