34 Terraplane windshield wiper photo request
One hates to start a trend that may be considered a nuisance ...but those 34T water jacket photos were very helpful.
Now I am trying to figure out what the proper setup is for the windshield wiper. Mine was put back on flopping down into the window without the little bracket on the windshield frame and that secondary arm (it is a single wiper version - Terraplane K). After-the-fact now wish I had taken a closeup picture of the setup on the 35 Hudson I was parked next to in San Mateo ...probably close to the same?

Well ...sort of. Thanks much for the effort. I wish there was a way on the forum to get the photos larger and/or as attachments that could be downloaded. The two photos of my car I am of course familiar with...I think I can barely see that auxiliary arm on the 35, and that in comparison my wiper is pointing off to the wrong side. The 35 is a convertible also, so is a different windshield. A picture of of the setup on an original 34T would be great. Thanks again.0

You have a single wiper so you do not need the secondary arm off a triangle bracket. The triangle brackets are only installed in pairs and are part of coordinating the dual wiper option. A single wiper has a spring loaded arm which should stay relatively flat and functional on your windshield. This was 1934 and there was no rocket science as yet to keep them on the glass at interstate speeds.
Dual wiper optional systems employ a right side post in the header (but no motor) and the two triangle brackets. The arms then have a connecting rod so that the driver side motor drives both arms. And they have guide rods to connect them.
The two holes on both driver and passenger sides of the windshield are there from the factory regardless of standard single or dual wiper option. When standard single, the holes have chromed screws in them. When optional dual, the chrome screws hold the triangle brackets.
Here in Texas I don't even have a wiper on my '34 T convert because I don't ever drive in rain so sorry I can't provide a digital.0 -

OK - I like it. TKS all. I got the Hudson Trico thing on EBay - maybe was a waste ...it shows the support arm and bracket, as pictured, and that is what I saw on the 35 Hudson convertible single wiper set-up in San Mateo ...however, StillOutThere indicates that the single wiper does not take the support arm and bracket - meaning Terraplane not and Hudson does use it? I should have read further and gotten the Terraplane version from lostmind, I guess. Still looking for original 34T K with original single wiper setup photo.0
