Price seems a bit high for the condition - but, try finding one of these in any condition these days.
    It is, at least, restorable.

I think they were looking for a 37 Terrorplane. This one looks like a 36 Hudson with the twin wings. 36 Terrorplane has a single wing in the center.

I think you are right Uncle Josh. I chrome plated a single wing for a gentleman last month. I know the one shown is much like the one on my Hudson 8....

Ok, this is a shot of my Hudson climbing a tree because I do not know how to rotate it... But, you get the idea..

Hate to be a naysayer but if one buys this ornament with the intention of restoring it, one has quite a bit of money to spend beyond the $380 Ebay starting price.

A new carrot, from the Eshelmans, is going to cost an additional $135:

And one will spend at LEAST as much if not more in replating the pot metal base and wings. So, before one's done, one will have $650 in this beauty!

One might as well look for the pot metal base and wings (and hopefully pay way less than $380 for them), then attach the new carrot.

Sure glad I do not need one.... That is about the same cost as a 32 17" Essex spoke wheel with a freshly restored hub cap and new tire.. Some things simply get out of hand.

I also have a few reproduced carrots for sale, and had a few of the two piece holders cast. I have mentioned this here previously, and have also listed them on Ebay. ozhudsonatgmail.com use the @ symbol

Barry, I don't mean to hijack this thread, but would you be interested in listing those carrot holders (and carrots) on my repro parts list on-line? http://www.detailedconcepts.net/Repro_Table.pdf (If I've already asked you, I apologize.) Sounds like something that someone is searching for!

Jon, I only have 3 or 4 of each so not enough to bother listing on your site. And as mentioned Eshelmans also sell the carots and their postage would be cheaper than mine. I have spent a lot of money advetising on Ebay and some months it cost me as I sold nothing.

Okay, understood. If you ever want to list any repro part I'm happy to do it, no charge of course. And I'll gladly publish a photo of it as well. You can reach me at HETdetailed@verizon.net (drop the HET first).
