I have just recieved news that long time member Ken Holmes passed away yesterday, Aug 22nd. I am told he went to the Hospital with heart problem and did not survive. Ken will be missed by all. Most everyone in the HET Club knew Ken. Absolutely one of the best.

This is sad news indeed. A fine man. He personified the friendly, helpful spirit of the Club. He owned several wonderful and rare Hudsons and he believed in actually driving them. I'll never forget all the rides he gave people in his '09 at various National Meets. He will be missed. Condolences to Marcia and his family.

One of the very best. A past AMC dealer , shared his parts and knowledge with any one that was in need. Always fun to be around. I knew Ken since the early 70's
    This is a sad day.

Since the 1st National I attended in York, PA, and got a ride in Jon Battles 1937 Cv I've made it a point to try to ride in at least one Hudson at each national. I got a ride with Kenny at the '09 National in his '09 Hudson - snuck it right out from under John Fromm. Kenny was another great in this family who will be missed. Thanks for the great times, Kenny - as the late Uncle Mike Elwell would say "Safe Journey Home".

Yep, Ken one of the "Old Guard" who will be sorely missed. Brought his '41 S6 conv. to Gettysburg & I remember he drove, I believe, his '29 H DC phaeton hundreds of miles thru w. N. Y. down to a meet in Pa.; definitely believed they should be driven.
He was a real "prince" of a guy & Marcia a "sweetheart"!
