Installing Flywheel -to glue or not to glue?
308's assembled, now time to install flywheel. But I have bad luck any time I have to use a sealant. It looks like GM recommended Pliobond or a gasket to seal flywheel to crankshaft. I was gonna go with pliobond. Does anyone have experience with this stuff? Is it also used to glue/seal that tin splasher/washer that occupies the space between flywheel and input shaft? (it looks like it was designed to retain some tranny fluid on the pilot bushing). Dave Edwards was unfamiliar with this washer. Any help is appreciated

Anything that is made to make a gasket seal and is oil resistant will work. (The right stuff) comes to mind.0

Non-hardening Permatex was always a good choice, used sparingly.0
