Thanks for sharing neat old Hudson department store pictures. I looked for Hudson cars but didn't recognize any.
The largest department store growing up in Burbank was Pennies, a basement and 2 upper levels.
I'm glad we didn't have that kind of foot traffic down town.

Thanks, Alex, for posting a link to a photo history of the company that had a key role in the creation of the Hudson Motor Car Company. I suppose you could say Hudson's was the Marshall Field's or Macy's of Detroit.
Couldn't find a stepdown in any of the photos, but it's nice to see the old photos of the PCC streetcars running in front of Hudson's.
