52-53 Hornet, Wasp, Commodore wiring harness for sale

I have a wiring harness which I bought from Y n Z's yesteryear parts a dozen years ago for a project which I no longer have. The harness is still in the original bag which Y n Z's shipped it. I can scan a copy of the instructions which came with it and attach it when I go back to work on Tuesday.
I'm looking to see if there is any interest. I don't know what kind of delay Y n Z may have if you ordered one from them today before they'd be able to ship it to you. So if you're in the market, this would cut down on your wait time.
As I mentioned, I no longer have the project for which this was purchased and the sale price of the car did not dictate that the wiring harness went with it. I have a new project now which is a 54 convertible. So, I'll be trying to recoup some of what I need to spend to get the 54 Harnesses.
Here's a link to the Y n Z website with their pricing.

It was ordered for a coupe. I'm not sure what differences there may be between that and a sedan or Hollywood other than the length of wires for the dome lights? More than willing to listen to offers, but I don't want to give it away either.

As a 54 project owner myself, I sure would like to see pictures of your 54 Convertible. Thanks, Michel0

Use the 52-3 harness for your 54. The visible portions should be the same. You may have to extend a wire or two under the dash or for the rear light but all should be close. as for major diferences, if going from stick to auto, you won't have the neutral switch connections or the quadrant light. you'll need to redo the turn signal indicator for the second output, if you had a closed car harness, you have an output for the rear interior light. tail light lengths may be short but you could order just that portion if you don't want to extend. if your 54 has power brakes, the brake light wiring may need attention.
also Y and Z will sell you lengths of the wire so splicing or replacing individual wires could be undetectable. As I understand, Y and Z now matches the hudson color codes and tags their wires, neither of which was the case years ago so you can easily identify where you are short.0 -
Y n Z suggested there would possibly be minor modifications to it to make it work on a 54. I probably should really look hard at the wiring diagrams for both in relation to wire colors, etc.
The wires on this harness are all labeled with numbers and has a corresponding guide. Looking at the diagram, I can tell if this harness would be color coded the same (seems I remember that being the case when I bought it).
I can see it being a possibility to use it, but if the offer was right, I'd still sell and get the 54 harness with all the convertible add-ons. I'm going to have enough challenges when I get around to it. If I could have a 'simpler' harness, I'd be all for it. I'm not in an immediate need for it, and maybe it would help someone move along on their project faster.0 -

I have one of Y & Zs in my 53 Coupe. Absolutely the best. If you have any desire at all to rewire , work out a deal. How's that for a plug, Bull?0

That's a good plug!
