hello, when i tore down my '35 splasher there were two discs on each intake valve spring assembly and one retaining disc on each exhaust valve assembly. is this correct or a previous owners idea? thank you. regards, tom

There was normally only one. Probably someone trying to compensate for springs losing pressure, but why only intake?
