That looks like the picture I have seen when Walt M. pushes his T-Stat conversion for the Hudson "Big Sixs". I'm sure you can get better info from Walt M here on this board.0

Did you call Dave Kostansek like I suggested in the post you are referring to. He had thermostats plus the bypass gasket. He will know what part number for the modern thermostat as would Walt Mordenti also mentioned in the post.0

If you actually read the post you will see I fully reference Walt's solution.0

Yes, I did double click. What comes up is a warning that it might be corrupt and to cancel.
Thanks for the second link. Is it Walts kit you are asking about? I have used Walts kit on two Hudson engines with good results. The engine coolant temperature dropped on both engines after installing Walts kit.

Lee I don't think its walts kit. Did you see the picture of the goose neck showing the piece covering the over the pass area with hole drilled in it? the reason I am asking is I am wondering if there is a alternate way of doing it?

Walts kit is shown hence the pic title Walt Modenti Solution that is Walts kit. The other solution is the soft plug I got that one from Dave Sollen. Maybe I need a bigger font?0
