I went to a car show this evening and I saw this 1910 Oakland. It was really cool. In fact it was the coolest car there as there were no hudsons. Mine isnt ready yet. :( But I have never seen a car that old in running condidtion. Was wondering is there anyone in the club that has a hudson that old?

There quite a number of 1909 and 1910 Hudsons still in operation. 1909 was the first year of production, so nothing older than that (Hudson-wise, anyway). We had a 1910 at our Central Regional Meet this year and the owner was giving rides in it.

I got a ride in a 1909 Hudson (by the serial number) at the 1999 100th anniversary national meet in Pontiac, MI. Was an experience to be riding in a 100 year old car that ran like a swiss watch.
Aside from that there were 2 1910 Hudsons in Oklahoma City in 2011.
Regards the serial numbers mentioned above - it is generally accepted that the first 1000 Hudsons were built in 1909 (from July to Dec.) but Hudson sold them all as 1910 models.
