vacuum pump

HI All,
looking for a all in 1 vacuum pump and alternator to boost my braking vacuum
as the cam is just too lumpy
any info would be great, a nice polished unit would be great if possible, will go into my coupe

You still 6 volts?
If you are then I have a 6 volt Vac pump I got x eBay some years ago to try to sort my vac powered windscreen wiper. I've not used it all these years & prob never will, so it's yours if you want it. If I recollect correctly, it previously powered a GM Convertable Hood mechanism.

Hi David,
no run 12 volt system, i do have a Volvo 1 that I have been mucking around with
and I know that Toyota has a diesel alternator that has a built in pump as part of it
was hoping to find something with a bit of bling to go with the rest of the setup

Some of the 82 Chevy Citations with v-6 had a vacuum booster under the battery. I would think other GM of similar configuration may have them too. Would be 12 volts of course,

Why not add a vacuum tank like they used on the 50;s cars with power brakes? A hose with a check valve in it goes from the intake manifold to the tank and another hose from the tank that hooks to the vacuum fitting on the booster unit.
