Terraplane Blues.

Given two facts - it's apparently in decent condition and it's still in the original sleeve (unless the seller had a sleeve and found the record - or the other way around) then it may well be worth the money to a collector. It is, indeed, rare. I would want to know when and where it was recorded - Johnson did some recording in Dallas and San Antonio, but his recordings were few and are very rare today.
So, yes, I can see the bid price on this record - it is very collectable. For more info, if interested, google Robert Johnson and read the Wickipedia write up.

I think I still have a, perhaps Capitol Records, album of all of Robert Johnson's music; it had been "re-mastered". Only song I listened to was "Terraplane Blues"; tried listening to the others but simply can't understand his lyrics but still like the music.0

Terraplane Blues, if you really listen to it, is a quite raunchy song. LOL
I'm gion' heist your hood, mama, I'm bound to check your oil
I'm goin' heist your hood, mama, mmm, I'm bound to check your oil
I got a woman that I'm lovin', way down in Arkansas
I'm gon' get down in this connection, keep on tanglin' with your wires
I'm gon' get down in this connection, oh well, keep on tanglin' with these wires
And when I mash down on your little starter, then your spark plug will give me fire
Lot of innuendo in those lyrics.

Didn't make a nickle out of it either. And before you ask, no, I wasn't around when the 1st Hudson rolled off the assembly line!!!

Wish I had a few of those ended up going for $12,100.00 buy a nice Terraplane for that, and get to use it when ever you want to.

Sounds about right. You are dealing here with very rare, legend (selling his soul to the devil), unknown grave (there are at least 3 places claiming his body) and mystery (it is said he was poisoned by the husband of a woman he was supposedly trying - or having - an affair with. The bartender was the woman's husband!!) So toss all that info into the pot and you got one hell of an expensive recording.
