Here we go again. Except, I'm not even sure this one is worth the 18 grand.

1951 HUDSON HORNET CONVERTIBLE. THE REAL DEAL. ONE OF 551 MADE. TEXAS BARN FIND. LAST ON THE ROAD IN 1990. THIS IS A REAL CONVERTIBLE THAT WAS MODIFIED WITH A SMALL BLOCK CHEVY V-8 AND A CHEVY AUTO TRANSMISSION DECADES AGO. IT IS A REAL CONVERTIBLE HORNET AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS.BUT THE TOP FRAME AND SIDE WINDOW FRAMES ARE MISSING. THESE CAN BE FOUND SOMEWHERE. THEY INTERCHANGE WITH OTHER MODELS EXCEPT THE 4A AND OTHER YEARS. THE MOTOR WILL RUN IF YOU JUMP THE STARTER AND POUR GAS DOWN THE CARB. THE OUTER BODY IS SOLID. REAR SEAT FLOOR HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH FLAT METAL. THE TRUNK PAN IS WEAK. FRONT FLOORS ARE SOLID ORIGINAL. THERE ARE A FEW SMALL RUST SPOTS ON THE FRONT OF THE HOOD. THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT LEAD SLED, RATROD ,STREETROD, OR RESTORE IT BACK TO ORIGINAL. THERE MUST BE A RUSTY CONVERTIBLE SOMEWHERE TO GET THE MISSING PARTS FROM. GOOD CLEAN TEXAS TITLE IN HAND. No motor, no transmission. Oh wait, no top . . . . no windows either.

Like they were found on this car for another. Don't bet on it. Better yet, I know they can be found, but I couldn't get the owner's to part with complete sets no matter how much money got thrown at them.
