Does anyone know where I can get 4 glove box springs for a 1936 Hudson, I remember some one was getting some made recently
These are for a club here in Sydney Australia who is not connected to the Internet. Any help would be appreciated. Les.P.

Bruce E on this forum. I got some from him.

    He wrote this in 2011:
The Glove Box Door Springs are now available. Manufactured on CNC
machines, .080 Stainless Spring Steel. Manufactured in the USA by
ISO Certified company. We are making these available in pairs,
one Left Hand and one Right Hand spring. The price per pair while
supplies last is $25.00, which includes shipping in U.S. Fits all 1936's.
Original Hudson Part Numbers are: 116468 for Right Hand and 116469
for the Left Hand Spring. Bruce Wylie, 4091 Irvin Circle No. Lake Elmo, MN 55042 Phone: 651 770-8334

Les, those springs (and a lot of other Hudson "repro's") are listed on my Hudson Repro Page at http://www.detailedconcepts.net/Repro_Table.pdf . The contact information for the sellers is also listed. (Just to put in a shameless "plug" for my webpage!)

he always advertises in the white triangle classifieds as well.
now if i could find a source for door springs for a '35...guess i will try to fabricate one..a less complicated shape than the '36's.
    regards, tom
