It is interesting to see the child taking the mother for a ride in the side car.

Lee, she (the child) probably grew up to be a biker babe rolling her Hog down the highway into the sunset!!! LOL
Talk about being iggorant - a few years back I found an ebay item for a 1902 Hudson shop manual. I thought about that for a few minutes and then emailed the seller telling him Hudson didn't start building cars until 1909. Felt like an idiot when he clarified his offering as being a motorcyle. Never had heard of those before.

This is what was left of Dad's New Hudson motorbike.
He built this mower in the early 50's using the motor and the fuel tank from the bike.
He never lost any toes but I think his toe nails were very short.

A guy from San Jose called me prior to our San Mateo meet to say his Hudson car wasn't operational, but he wanted to come up and would we be interested in him bringing his 'New Hudson' motorcycle. I said, 'Sure!' My dad rode and I'm a LITTLE familiar with some obscure brands, but that was a new one to me! He did end up coming Friday, but sadly didn't bring the 'New Hudson' for some reason.0
