transmission type????
Can someone give me an insight on this transmission I aquired it with the purchase of the car along with a bunch of other extra parts. I was told it was a three speed with overdrive however I want to make sure it was as I am going to swap my three speed out however want to make sure before I do thanks to everyone on this site you have been of great help!!!!

Hmmm.... looks like you're missing your overdrive (or at least the case for it).0

It is a '47-'52 transmission, but as Jon observes, the overdrive case is missing, as are obviously other components. Might be okay for parts.0

Is this it? If so its attatched to the rear. Its listed as a r10 overdrive.0

When I look at your photos, the phrase "parts transmission" enters my mind. You may not simply be lacking the overdrive housing, but some of the parts inside it. Someone used this transmission as a source for ''spares'' to rebuild another one.0
