Need Help Identifying bolts

Can anyone tell me the size and threading specs for the three bolts that affix the center steering arm bracket to the No. 2 crossmember... in the attached shop manual diagram? This is for my 52 Hudson Pacemaker. (Model 4B)

I removed them a few years ago for the engine removal and cannot locate them (of course). They are at the bottom center of the image - I have tried several kinds and cannot get the right size. Thanks.

  • Perfect! Thanks for the info - I will visiting NAPA tomorrow afternoon. Yes - I did screw most bolts back onto pieces.... cannot recall why I did not with this one. Thanks again!

The alternative to putting them back in the hole is to put them in a plastic bag. I used to use a hole punch and put a hole near the top of the bag and hang it from a hook on one of those perforated fiber boards. And put a note paper in the bag telling where they came from. If at some time you loose interest in the project and decided to sell as is the buyer will love you forever!!! :))

Putting a label in the bag instead of writing on the outside will pay off if it sets a long time as the outside writing, even with a marker, tends to disappear. I now buy orange tags from McMaster-Carr and put the info on them, then into the bag.Several times I have done projects others brought, where they bagged the parts and all the writing on the outside was faded off, so I had to spend a lot more time figuring out what the hdwr was actually for! Also, if the project is going to set for a while, purchase good quality bags, they won't deteriate as quickly as the thin cheap ones, you'll be glad you did!
