New Essex steering wheel hub
I've recently made a new Essex steering wheel hub out of aluminium as a replacement for a badly cracked die cast/pot metal original.
Being made from solid aluminium, a pair of threaded puller holes have been included should the hub ever need to be removed from the steering column.
It all turned out quite well, if anyone needs one, send a pm.

Looks great Bob. Almost wish I had a Essex car to put one of your aluminium hubs on.
Using a very thin layer of anti seize compound inside any hub and on steering shaft will make the removal alot easier should the need arise. Some people get carried away with tightening the nut and wonder why it is so hard to remove the hub later on.
Man, that hub looks good! It a work of art.
