I am new to the forum and I am restoring a 46 pickup. In the july/august WTN page 13 is a picture of rear and side of a pickup. It has a good looking rear bumper and I would like to find out who owns the pickup for some info. Thanks Jerry Johnson

Hi Jerry, welcome to the forum. I found my copy of the WTN and that truck bumper is not Hudson. I would suspect it's modified with maybe a V8 engine although a Hudson engine could have dual exhausts. A quick check of my roster indicates It could be one of several.
I'll contact somebody that was there. The 'HUDNUT' plate should give it away.

Hi Larry, I originally thought the bumper was a 49 plymouth but after closer look I don't think so. Hopefully we can run down the owner. Jerry0

FYI
Its always wise to install a rear bumper. A '50 = 51 Chevy Pickup Bumper works well but I dont recall if front or rear. (Which ever bumper is flatter). A '38 Hudson Bumper will work too. I've installed both bumpers...0
