1939 Headlights Wanted

A fellow in France is restoring a '39 Hudson and needs both teardrop headlights (in the fenders), complete. I'm guessing someone replaced the originals with those sealed beam conversion kits, years ago, and pitched the original ones.

I have the feeling that others have posted similar requests here lately, so maybe the guy will have to stand in line for the next available pair.

If you have a teardrop-shaped, fender-style '39 Hudson headlight or any parts of one, please let me know what you have, and the asking price. Maybe if we can find enough pieces (rims, glass, bucket) the fellow can reconstruct a pair of them.

Lately, ive seen '39 headlite Lens & S/S Rings (bezel) on EBay, but not complete buckets. The buckets may be similar to '39 Ford/Merc. I know the '39 Tear drops are smaller than '38 Hudson. I might have a Ring..

I may have a ring also. I'll have to check. I had seal beams on mine but lucky for me I didnt need the buckets as I hear that they are very hard to find. Also I will send you a message on a different subject.
