The week of Thanksgiving, I am making the trip from Texas to Indiana. Spending Thanksgiving with my brother, but also picking up engine and tranny from Dr. Doug.

Reason for this post: I am on the look-out for a nice aluminum car-hauler trailer. 18', winch, electric brakes. Anyone have a lead on one and you are somewhat between here and there, please let me know. New or used, o.k., but want something in really good shape.

    Open trailer . . . I'm just a poor, corrupt official.

    I bought a steel/used one about 7-8 years ago..LUVE it!

Only thing is I wish I'd have bought a 5th wheel 20k version - they (trailers) never are big enough once you get one!
  • If you can find a tilt bed trailer best ,present you will ever buy yourself

I have a 20' H&H tilting trailer (10k GVWR) with a winch mounted. I also added E-Track for fast tie down. Super fast loading. Mine is steel, but they have an aluminum version. Everyone that borrows it (too many) can't believe how easy it is to load and unload.

  • Quite so ,makes it so I can load a car by myself. Mine is also steel with wood deck 22 foot long with 16 foot tilting bed section. Mine came from Sikeston Mo. seems like there are several manufactures in that area,
