Trying to identify this Floor Pan
This is my friend's floor pan for his '51 Super Six. He is planning on installing a 700R4 transmission behind his Hudson engine, and knows he needs a floor pan designed for the Hydramatic, for required clearances.
So is the attached picture (hope this works) the aforementioned Hydramatic style pan? It sure seems different than the pan from my '49. It has several access panels built into it, that my manual style does not.
Thanks for the help,
Doug

Doug that indeed is a floor pan for a hydramatic. hose access panels were for adjusting the tranny and filling it with fluid. The flatter floor/tranny cover was used from 48-50 prior to the first factory installed hydramatics in 51. After the 1950 model year all Hudson floor pan/tranny covers were using the hydramatic cover no matter if it was a 3 speed with OD ,3 speed, or hydramatic. Looks to be in very good shape.0
