'37 Terraplane Fender Skirt Emblem

Quick question about the emblem on the Terraplane fender skirts....are they the same as the emblem on the trunk? Mine are roughed up a bit, but they look very close to the one on the trunk. I have a foundry and could use the trunk emblem as a mold for the others; unless someone has some nice emblems that they want to let go of.

thanks, E

Yes, same as on trunk. These were (at one time) available as a cast piece, from (I think) K-Gap. But I can't be 100% sure.
  • I can't seem to get a website for K-Gap to come up. I did find a bunch of upset posting on this forum relating to the ups or downs with K-Gap.

At any rate...I think that I'll clean up my trunk emblem and see what kind of results I can get. If they turn out...I'll make a few extras if anyone is interested. Cost of materials only. I don't want to upset anyone by promoting a business venture here on this forum. Just being neighborly.

Sorry, neglected to mention that K-Gap no longer sells that stuff.

You won't upset anyone by promoting a business venture so long as you're offering a much-needed Hudson part!

    Hey Erik,
You might also try Dr Doug. He has lots of Hudson parts, a rubber and seal line etc. Great guy.
Also maybe Jason at Vintage Coach as well.
