Still looking for 1939 headlights (in the fender)

A gentleman in France has been restoring a '39 convertible whose original teardrop headlights (in the fender) had been replaced with sealed beams, at some time in its life. I've posted an appeal for these before, but the fellow is still looking for them. Mr. Axelrod doesn't have them. The French fellow is looking for the entire setup, especially the housing and reflectors (the lenses are much easier to find).

If anyone stumbles on a pair of these for sale, please let me know so I can pass the info along.

He just got back, Paul, and e-mailed me to ask if I'd heard of any headlights for sale lately. So....you say that you have the fender headlights, then? By all means, please contact him with this information, he'll be most happy to hear it.

(By the way, if you have seen photos of his car you know that he seems to have an extra set of taillights, which are mounted low to the fenders, and are not original.)
