G'day All,

I would appreciate advice as to different wheel styles, and some brake info.

As I have posted previously, I am building a Railton 1934 for long distance endurance rallying.
It's 1934 and has the four bolt wire wheels.
I wish to upgrade to hydraulic brakes with twin circuits and have enough parts to go to later 5 bolt hubs and am wondering what wheels are available to suit those hubs apart from solid pressed steel which I don't want to use.

Also, are there any 4 bolt wire wheels of period in 17 or 18'' size to fit if I stick with that configuration of 4 bolt hub and adapt those hubs / drums / backing plates to hydraulic ?

Thanks

I have some backing plates that have hydraulic cylinders, some shoes and brake drums that came off a 1940 112. Have been told they can be used to convert 1934/35 to hydraulic brakes. ozhudsonatgmail.com use the @ symbol
