convertible parts

looking for the two metal pieces at the top of the 1/4 panles rearward of the 1/4 windows where the top hooks into, these are for my 50 commadore. also just discovered that onmy 51 super conv both diecast pieces above the 1/4 windows are broken. anyone have any suggestions or parts. i am sure i can have the 1/4 pieces made locally if i cant find them but what do i do about the broken die cast?

Hi Jeff, I took 4 of my broken cast pieces to Bast welding here in Auburn, Ca. Sam the senior guy there was able to do a beautiful job welding them together. It will take some work to grind & file them smooth, but I'm very pleased. I think Jason at Twin H Ranch in Fontana had some ruff castings made again, so you may want to contact him. good luck. Ron.
