THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING TOO BROWNIE I HAVE 2 BANJO WHEELS ONE FROM A 37 WITH ROUND SPOKES AND THE 1 FROM A 39CC WITH THE FLAT SPOKES THE CENTER IS ALUM. BOTH OF MY WHEELS NEED SOME TLC AS WITH MOST THE OUTTER RING WAS CRACKED BUT I HAVE EPOXIED THEM UP AND MADE THE OUTTER RING WHEEL WHOLE AGAIN I PLAN TO WRAP WITH A LEATHER WHEEL RAP IN THE COLOR OF THE SEATS MOST LIKELY DARK RED OR MAROON LEATHER I HAVE LEFT OVER FROM MY 50 PACEMAKERS INT. I HAVE 2 FULL HIDES AND I'M THINKING THAT SHOULD BE JUST RIGHT FOR THE ROADSTERS SEATS I HAVE A BOLT OF THE SAME COLOR IN VINAL FOR THE SIDE PANNELS AND THE OVER RAPP ON THE DOORS THNINGS ARE STARTING TO TAKE SHAPE I MOCKED US THE NEW REMOVABLE REAR CROSS MEMBER THAT IS GOING TO CARRY THE HYDROMATIC TRANS THAT IS HOOKED UP TO THE HORNET ENGINE I'M TRYING TO GET ALL THIS DONE SO WHEN IT COMES TIME FOR FINAL INSTALATION AFTER PAINTING EVERY THING FITS RIGHT I'M PLANNING ON COIL OVER SHOCKS SO THERE WILL BE NO BIG BULKY FRONT SPRINGS CHUCK VORSE (THE OLD RACER) HAS THEM ON HIS 37 TERRAPLANE AND THEY SEEM TO WORK GREAT0

Rick, The CC steering wheel will look great on your 112 truck! My coupe has one in it, minus the horn button, which I found bent up under the seat. I suspect it may be an original install, but not positive. I found a CC that was being parted out which had a good button on it, but seemed a bit loose, so I am wondering if I got all the parts. Was there a spring under the button to keep it straight and tight?

Here's a way to fix your banjo before you get the 20 inch leather cover, for about 6 bucks.
Remove all the old plastic and get some heater hose, slice it on the inside of the natural curve, slide it on the wheel and fill the inside space with tub calk.0 -
OK UNCLE JOSH WHERE DID YOU GET A LEATHER COVER I'M MAKING MINE OUT OF LEATHER FROM MY ''BABY'' LEATHER STASH I'M CUTTING IT OUT AND HAVING IT SEWED TOGETHER SO IT IS A 20 CIRCLE I'M GOING TO WET IT STREACH IT OVER THE WHEEL AND THEN LACE IT WITH MAROON FISHING LINE (I'M PUNCHING HOLES 1/2 INCH APART ALL THE WAY AROUND ON BOTH SIDES )0
