Rare Hudson accessory--Not Mine

Guess it would have to be a lot nicer for that cat to meow at me for $750. . .0

I'm pretty sure Mr. Hostettler has one on a 36/37 convertible. Only other one I've seen.
I very much doubt he will sell it for $750, but if someone gets it for $350 they might feel
like they did good.0 -

It was a dealer option back in the 1930's - around 1936 or 1937. I'd have to check the accessory section of the parts catalogs to find out exactly when. I had a picture in my collection of stuff of a 1937 that was sold with just about every option available at the time and the swinging stop-light was included.

Yes, and Jim's is about 100x nicer!0 -
I was coveting a couple of these things when I was restoring our '36 H8 convertible. Saw them first in the Hudson accessories catalog. As I recall, the wig-wag mechanism is a vacuum motor much like a windshield wiper motor.0

I think Gus Souza's '36 H8 conv. has them on it.0

oops, just at my photos of Gus' & it's a '37 & doesn't have those on it0

The only car I can recall with one on it is Hostetler's '36. Surely there's another, but I have yet to see it.0 -
Wow, nice condition. about the same price as a good set of tires?0
