Happy New Year everybody. Here in Memphis it's 20 after 8 and it already sounds like Saigon on a Saturday night. Most folk around here ain't got money to put food on the table, but, man, they got money for guns, ammunition, ciggys and booze. The essentials of life in this mid-south city.
I hope everybody had a great 2013 and that 2014 will be even better for all of you. If you go out and celebrate (those of you who haven't already wished the New Year in) please don't drive and drink - you might hit a bump and spill the whole drink .

_22 this moring and snow everywhere. Hope that's a omen that winter is nearly over. Alex you must miss that in Maine. Those partying used to end up in snow banks.

Happy New year Alex and all HET lovers...Went in the woods for a one hour walk in the snow yesterday night before midnight. Coming back, had a hot chocolate drink ( still outside) around a camp fire. T'was different, simple, but very memorable. Michel
