Hornet horn button

My '52 Hornet's blue horn button is turning brown around the edges. Is there someone out there who restores them?

They are simple to restore. Just strip it down, tape off the parts that are not gold and with a rattle can paint. Then remove remove the tape and paint the rest.

I bought a NOS clear button a year ago. Pretty neat piece. Do not think I will paint it though. Put it on display with some other HET memorabilia.

I have a real nice '52 button, but not sure of the color. Its hanging on my shop wall. I'll try to remember to check.

THE BEST WAY TO CLEAN OFF ALL THE OLD PAINT IS BRAKE FULID AND Q TIPS THE BRAKE FULID GETS AFTER THE PAINT THEN CLEAN OFF ALL THE BRAKE FULID AND THEN AS BROWNIE SAID PAINT
