no affiliation, they just do good work and turn it quickly. been in business a long time..never left anyone holding the bag by going through a bankruptcy. regards, tom0 -
not many long standing companies left that have not gone thru bankruptcy at some point.
The newer owners have an excellent reputation. They are the ones that made the Harley style engines, S&S . The guys that referred me to them we're highly complimentary of them.
They seemed eager and happy to regrind the Hudson cam.0 -
I also use Delta, largely because they are "right down the road" from me and have a great reputation. They have been in it for as long as I can remember.
I see that they offer follower refacing but they were (two years ago) not up to the task of doing the "Splasher" arc-faced ones. They confidently said they could and I gave them 24. The results were not at all acceptable. They ran out as much as .009" , resulting in "line contact" with the cam. Yikes! I asked how they did it and was told "they probably just did 'em by hand back there".
I'll always go to them for cams......just not for "Splashie" lifters!
