I spotted this over at the H.A.M.B. He's asking $2500 $2250 or trade. Strictly a parts car in my opinion, but there are a few salvageable items there. Find the webpage at jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=840604

The grill looks to be in pretty good shape! Those are very hard to find. The chrome strip for the grill is still there as well as the fender chevrons. It still has the clock and the S/S dash piece. A lot of good parts are still there.

I was going to say, the grill pieces are worth 1k alone.

Parts . . . or even a restoration is possible on this one, depending on the frame. Of all of the body parts, the running boards are toast, but the rest looks like it casts a pretty good shadow.

I've spoken to the guy via PM. The car doesn't have an engine or transmission in it but what is there is certainly workable.

From my point of view there are bits on it that would help me get my car into shape and there would still be enough left to maybe build another one up

Might not be standard but at least a car on the road

$2,500 is way outside of my budget considering I'd have to ship as well. The chap who has it is not averse to shipping ; he said he's sold many cars to overseas

From a personal perspective my car may well be on the market soon because I can't see me being able to do anything on it for years to come yet. It's sitting outside and although I have it under cover I can see month on month where it is falling apart

I hate the thought of it not being used almost as much as I hate the thought of it not being me using it
