Anyone still looking for a nice Essex project

Wow, Tom buys a complete '31 RS coupe driver for 6200 and this guy is starting a reserve not met auction at 7000...for a real project.0

No cowl tag,but looks like my 30. The 31 engine I have uses a different (vertical) front motor plate attachment. My guess is its a tad high for a kit car.

Ad says no engine or transmission but then the eBay stats claim it's a 4 cylinder!!! Wonder what else is not correct??0

Going by the shape of the dash instruments, and the door handle on the belt line, it is a 1930.0

that is one neat project coupe. little out of my price range, but nice anyway. also, the $7000 is not even the reserve price!0

I see the other '31 that was broadcast under the "kind of appalling" thread has suicide doors. Is '31 the first year they had suicide doors? I see this one is forward hinged. Regards, tom
Senior moment, the suicide door car in the "kind of appalling" thread is a '29...now I understand0 -
definitely a 30 by the swag lines on the body and valances
mine was way worse than that to start off, a very good project
especially if the bonnets and bumpers are there
no suicide doors on a 31
