I did mine sometime back at the lower priced of the two hotels. Is there some kind of advantage pertaining to the meet at the higher priced facility? They say we can upgrade when we get there if we want to. Also, I'm wondering if the hotel will have a big breakfast buffet type deal? I like to eat fancy in the morning and skip lunch. Saves time and money.

Arkie - don't see any advantage booking at the higher priced hotel. Hell, I'm scratching the dog to put together enough to book 4 nights (Wed. thru Sat nites.) Fortunately I found a room-share - otherwise I would definitely be conspicuous by my absence. Hey, I realize that costs have gone thru the roof (while the economy is going down hill) but it's getting a bit out of hand.
I'd really like to know just how many aren't coming to F.L. due to the high price. Oh, well - I guess you can look at it as a once-a-year-vacation event.
Sorry, folks - don't mean to sound so negative. I'm looking fwd to seeing old friends and making a few new ones. (And seeing some of the new resto's that are going to be there).

Alex - the town is so small, 1800 pop., there are only a few alternates where you can stay & maybe a few local "greasy spoons" at which to eat.
