Yes it will. The only thing is that you may have to use a special puller to remove both wheels if they are still on steering shafts. Starting in mid 1950 Hudson drilled and tapped 2 holes in the Commodore steering wheel for a more easily used steering wheel removal tool. However not all 1950 wheels had that nicety. To remove the 48-early 1950 wheel you need a puller that was made for that type of removal. Snap On made a tool for it and it's sometimes available on ebay. Many post 1949 steering wheels were used on 48-9 Commodores even back in the day as the ivory plastic from those early wheels disintegrated rapidly after a few years. Steering wheels from later model Hudsons were more durable and so were put to use even in the 1950's by origional owners. .0
