I just bought a set for my 46 truck last week. I just went to NAPA and asked the counter guy. I beleive they are the same for all corvairs and 50's cadilacs as well as others.
When I am at the shop later on today I'll post the part # from the box.

Truck brakes are the same size as pre-stepdown 8 cyl, which are the same size as stepdown rears, and pacemaker fronts, ie 11 inch x 1 3/4 calling for a 15/16 wheel cylinder

Howsomeever, a search of the memory, a jog from Paul B. and some research in the garage and online, turned up some 1 inch dia wheel cylinders, as used in trucks and 8 cyl pre-stepdown cars. they are available at your local parts place if the kid has enough gumption to look them up, and are listed by Make (Wagner) and PN by Rockauto.com
