2 ?'s - Auto trans fluid and window removal

Hello all.  Progress continues on Harvey, the '54 Jet I purchased for my 16-year old. 

I have two quick questions -
1) What transmission fluid do you use in the Hydromatic Trans?  I have a bad leak and I'm hoping it's the pan gasket.  Any other common leak areas?

2) how do you remove the door windows?  I think you have to remove the window frame that's attached to the door, but I'm not sure.  There are three large screws in the front part of the door.  I'm guessing these are removed.
