Type A Transmission Fluid?

Use Dexron III or equivalent fluid in Hydramatics. If it hasn't been run in a while, drop the pan and check for gunk and clean the filter.0

Will do. There seems to be a nice leak. I have a puddle of trans fluid under the car. I hope it's just the pan gasket. I've ordered a new gasket. Would it be anything else? Is there another area that's prone to leak trans fluid?

Front and rear seals. Mine had a nasty leak from the front. Requires dropping the Trans. Little different than if you've ever done another automatic. There's a hydromatic manual on the HET Club website. I'll find the link shortly...0
